HONOR X40 GT official teaser dropped, gamer aesthetic ramped up to 11

If you think Honor is done with their X Series, they’ve dropped another bomb again and this time, it’s for the gamers…

Honor just teased the Honor X40 GT smartphone with an outrageous design not common among the brand’s main style language. It is teased on China and will go official probably in two weeks time. A render of the device has started making buzz all around social media, and based on the said teaser, it will be marketed towards the gaming market.

The Honor X40 GT will pack the Snapdragon 888 4G for its processor. As for the display, a punch-hole cutout was seen. but there’s no confirmation yet whether they will use an LCD or an AMOLED one. The two green vertical lines dominates the back with a textured pattern on both sides.

The camera module looks like the typical Honor X7/X8/X9 look or should we say, a roided-POCO X3 NFC, it has triple cameras, an LED Flash and a large GT branding on it: sounds dope!

The Honor X40 GT should be helmed as the better phone than the vanilla X40 Series, with the Honor X40 and Honor X40i getting shoved behind.

As for the pricing, there’s no news as of yet and we don’t know if it plans to rivals the mid-range gaming offerings like the Black Shark 5 or will remain in budget line with the POCO X4 GT’s of the world.
