A bunch of Honor X Series were released a couple of months ago, but they are releasing what seems to be a Lite version of the X9 with noticeable changes
The Honor X9a 5G will be unveiled on January 4, 2023, in Malaysia, according to a recent confirmation from Honor. On Honor’s website, the X9a 5G is currently listed with all of its specifications for the Middle Eastern market. Unfortunately, the device’s price is not mentioned in the listing.
Before, it was thought that the Honor X40, which is only sold in China, would be rebranded as the X9a. The X9a, however, has slightly different specs than the X40, according to the official listing.
The 6.67-inch AMOLED display on the Honor X9a 5G features a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has a fingerprint scanner underneath the display for security.
The Honor X9a has a 16-megapixel selfie camera up front. A 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth assist lens are all located on the device’s back. The phone’s operating system is Android 12 with Magic UI 6.1.
Under the hood of the Honor X9a 5G is the Snapdragon 695 processor, which has 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of native storage. A 5,100mAh battery with 40W charging will be inside. It offers a variety of connectivity options, including a USB-C port, dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and NFC.
The X9a weighs 175 grams and has dimensions of 161.6 x 73.9 x 7.9mm. The Honor X9a 5G’s launch in Malaysia on January 4 will probably reveal the price. Three colors, including Titanium Silver, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black, will be offered for the product.
