itel P55+ specs leak: Unisoc T606, 4GB RAM, 720p display; weaker than the P55

itel, the renowned smartphone brand, is gearing up to introduce a new variant of its P55 smartphone, the iTel P55+. This revelation comes from the Google Play Console certification website, where the device’s key specifications have been unveiled.

The itel P55+ is listed under the model number P663L on the Google Play Console. It is powered by an Unisoc T606 processor, which features two Cortex-A75 cores operating at 1.6GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.6GHz. The chipset is accompanied by a Mali-G57 GPU onboard. In terms of memory, the smartphone boasts 4GB of RAM and runs on the Android 13 operating system out of the box.

Display

While the Google Play Console certification only provides a blurry render of the smartphone, it does reveal a waterdrop notch and a slightly thicker chin at the bottom of the display. Additionally, the listing indicates a resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels and a screen density of 320 dpi.

Expected Differences from the iTel P55

The remaining specifications of the itel P55+ remain undisclosed. However, we can anticipate some subtle differences compared to its predecessor, the iTel P55. The iTel P55 sports a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 50MP primary camera on the rear. It is powered by a Dimensity 6080 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery cell with 18W fast charging support.
