Netizens on Thursday aired their frustration after finding out that some media files, including photos and videos, have become unavailable on the Messenger app
In a tweet, one netizen said: “Is it just me, but media/files/links shared on Messenger are suddenly GONE?? I checked the chat between me and a friend of mine, and we share photos and links on the daily, and now everything’s GONE.
Messenger and its parent company Meta have yet to release a statement on the issue. It wasn’t also clear whether the glitch is unique to users in the Philippines.
Last Tuesday, May 2, 2023, users also encountered issues accessing the app.
