When the mobile app messenger faced a glitch yesterday that caused media, files, and links to vanish, internet users became concerned. As of the time this post was written, it appears that the problem has been resolved.
On May 2, 2023, Facebook had a prior problem when the website and messenger appeared to be exceedingly slow. Messages won’t send, and several settings are broken and unreachable. The scoop, courtesy of the Inquirer:
This is not the first time that Messenger has been plagued by a significant bug; prior problems have included messages that won’t load, chat heads that won’t show, contacts that won’t load, and a number of others. Well, Meta is undoubtedly constantly improving the app, and it is fortunate that the most recent problem was fixed for a day even though Meta made no official announcement.
