What the–?! Another rebrand, Xiaomi? Apparently, the upcoming POCO C50 is just a rehashed Redmi A1+. Not that surprising though…
Xiaomi’s POCO C40 was made available for purchase worldwide in around August in the Philippines of this year. According to MySmartPrice, POCO is currently working to release the POCO C50, another budget-tier offering from the Xiaomi sub-brand.
The POCO C50 is currently visible on Google Play’s list of compatible devices. This device’s model number is 220733SPI, and its codename is “snow.” The smartphone will soon be available thanks to its Google Play listing.
The IMEI database has previously recorded the identical model number. From the perspective of the model code, POCO C50 might be a rebranded Redmi A1+. The latter also uses the word “snow” as a code name.
The 6.52-inch HD+ water drop display of the Redmi A1+ is HD+. The panel will also have a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 60Hz refresh rate. Powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 CPU, it includes a built-in 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging and comes pre-installed with the Android 12 Go Edition operating system.
There are two color possibilities for this smartphone: green and blue. Additionally, the Redmi A1+ has two rear cameras.
