realme’s 2024 CES event in Las Vegas showcased the realme 12 Pro Series, featuring a flagship periscope telephoto lens and a luxury watch design.
The series introduces a groundbreaking periscope camera with 3x zoom, addressing the growing preference for higher zoom levels among young users. realme aims to make this flagship technology accessible to a wider audience by incorporating it into the upcoming series.
The realme 12 Pro Series utilizes advanced camera technology, including prism tilt OIS, Sub-Wavelength Structure Coating, and a Wave Pattern Lens Shade, providing a unique combination for exceptional photography. The device boasts a 3x Portrait Mode, up to 120x digital zoom, and impressive sensors, such as the OV64B and Sony IMX890 OIS.
Collaborating with Qualcomm, realme ensures top-tier image processing by enabling RAW domain processing, enhancing clarity, dynamic range, and realism. The series also incorporates the Omni-focal MasterShot Algorithm, NightEye Engine, and movie portrait filters for a comprehensive photography experience.
In addition to its camera prowess, realme partnered with luxury watch design master Ollivier Savéo, resulting in a meticulously crafted series with a Golden Fluted Bezel, Polished Sunburst Dial, and premium vegan leather. The 3D Jubilee Bracelet adds a metallic strap texture to the device.
Marking a year of rebranding, realme’s founder and CEO, Sky Li, introduced the slogan “Make it real,” positioning the brand as tech-savvy and in tune with young users. The realme 12 Pro Series is set to launch globally in January, reflecting the company’s commitment to innovation and next-gen imaging. Availability details in specific regions, including the Philippines, are yet to be disclosed.
