realme GT 5 Pro: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, global launch soon

realme has confirmed that it will be launching the realme GT 5 Pro in the global market soon. The device is expected to be released in November or December of this year.

realme has recently released a teaser poster for the GT 5 Pro global variant. The poster shows a new GT series phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. While the poster does not state the name of the device, it is most likely the Realme GT 5 Pro.

Rumored Specs

According to rumors, the realme GT 5 Pro will feature a BOE-supplied OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will run on realme UI 5-based Android 14 and have an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security.

The realme GT 5 Pro is expected to have a 50MP Sony IMX966 primary camera with OIS support, an IMX851 ultra-wide lens, and an IMX890 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

The topmost variant of the realme GT 5 Pro will have 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It may house a 5,400mAh battery with 150W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The device is also expected to feature a 10,000mm² VC liquid cooling system, a metallic middle frame, and an IP-rated chassis equipped with a vegan leather back.

Pricing and Availability

The realme GT 5 Pro is expected to be priced at around 4,000 Yuan (~$545). It is unclear when the device will be released globally, but it is likely to happen in the coming months. It is equivalent to approximately ~₱31,131.15 Philippine Pesos (PHP).
