The world’s most powerful 16” gaming laptop will run on 12th Gen Intel processors. The Lenovo Legion 7 series lineup will be the following (with prices):
Lenovo Legion 7i – Php 179,995
Lenovo Legion Slim 7i – Php 124,995
The Lenovo Legion 7i is mainly marketed towards gamers that play AAA games, while the latter mainly addresses portability issues.
The Lenovo Legion 7i is equipped with a 16-inch WQHD screen with support of up to 165Hz refresh rate. It also runs on the latest 12th Gen core i9 CPU, coupled with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX™ 3080 Ti graphics card.
And it doesn’t stop only at 165Hz as the company claims the Legion 7i has up to 240Hz of variable refresh rate that will be beneficial for gamers who want constant and in-sync framerates.
The Legion 7i also boasts of a charging speed of only 70% if it’s plugged in only for 30 minutes. Additional features include a dedicated cooling system named as Coldfront 4.0 that should let the gaming laptop keep cool while it crunches processor-intensive tasks.
The Legion Slim 7i, on the other hand, runs on a 12th Gen Intel Core H CPU paired with GeForce RTX™ 3070 GPU. The Legion Slim 7i uses the same cooling tech as that of the Lenovo Legion 7i – it uses a Coldfront 4.0 to maintain the laptop’s performance.
The Legion Slim 7i is housed with a chassis made from ultra-light aluminium, and the whole unit weighs nearly 2 kg.
The Legion 7 series are available in select shops, but more importantly, these devices will be shown in Lenovo stores.
