POCO F6

The POCO F6 is a near bezel-less midranger powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, the same CPU powering the realme GT 6. That’s why this device is on this list.

It’s also enhanced by AI to dish out performance without draining much power and let gamers enjoy their favorite titles with accurate controls. Since performance is the star, the brand installed a passive cooling system to keep the heat away from the hardware.

For an SRP of PHP 21,999, the POCO F6 offers:

  • 1.5K 6.67” AMOLED display
  • 120 Hz refresh rate
  • Dolby Vision and HDR10+
  • Corning Gorilla Glass Victus
  • 50 + 8 MP rear cameras with 4K@60FPS recording
  • 20 MP selfie camera with 1080p@60FPS recording
  • 5000 mAh battery with 90 W turbo charging

That SRP is for the 8+256 GB variant but if you want a bigger memory, go for the 12+512GB for PHP 24,999.

POCO F6 Pro

The POCO F6 Pro is the evolved version of its younger kin. This one is powered by the former flagship processor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. While the SD 8s Gen 3 is modern in many ways, the SD 8 Gen 2 remains relevant due to its architecture, previous status, and graphics chip.

Despite having the same screen as the regular model, the Pro version comes with better display resolution for crispier, clearer, and more detailed visuals. This is crucial if you like watching 2K or 4K videos or when gaming. It also features a large passive cooling system.

For an SRP of PHP 26,999, the POCO F6 Pro offers:

  • 2K 6.67” AMOLED display
  • 120 Hz refresh rate
  • Dolby Vision and HDR10+
  • 3,840 Hz max PWM dimming
  • Qualcomm Adreno 740 (higher than SD 8s Gen 3’s Adreno 735)
  • 50 + 8 + 2 MP rear cameras with 8K@24 FPS, 4K@60FPS recording
  • 16 MP selfie camera with 1080p@60FPS recording
  • 5000 mAh battery with 120 W turbo charging
  • Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio

The POCO F6 Pro is sold in three configurations. The SRP mentioned is for the 8+256 GB variant. You can go big with 12+512 GB for PHP 28,999 or massive with 16 GB + 1 TB for PHP 32,999.

HONOR 200 Pro

The HONOR 200 Pro is likely to pave the way for DSLR killers this year. But don’t underestimate this beast in terms of performance because it’s also powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and features a refreshing design. It isn’t prone to heat, thanks to a passive cooling system.

The camera island is ellipse and it holds three cameras with the H9000 as the lead sensor. Beyond the astonishing rear cameras, the smartphone also sports two selfies cameras, which aren’t common today. Just based on these details, the device is implying that it’s a great companion for gaming and capturing moments.

While there’s no official pricing as of writing, the HONOR 200 Pro offers:

  • 1.5K 6.78” AMOLED display
  • 120 Hz refresh rate
  • 3,840 Hz max PWM dimming

The HONOR 200 Series is scheduled for launch on July 17. The HONOR 200 Pro has been launched in China with a starting price of CNY 3,499 or around PHP 28K.

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra and it sports an impressive display. It comes with a passive cooling system as well. The main camera isn’t the best but it’s decent enough for memories and social media postings.
