According to reports, vivo is developing the S17 series of smartphones for the Chinese market– and the specs is oh so exciting
According to reports, the S17 lineup will compete in the domestic smartphone market against the Honor 90 and Oppo Reno 10 series. These vivo, Honor, and Oppo models are anticipated to go on sale during China’s 618 shopping festival in June after their May launch.
As a result, meaningful information about these smartphones has begun to surface in rumors. The main features of the vivo S17 and S17 Pro were revealed by Tipster Digital Chat Station in a recent Weibo post (via TechGoing).

Three models will make up the vivo S17 line, including the vivo S17e (V2285A), vivo S17 (V2283A), and vivo S17 Pro, according to earlier reports (V2284A).
The chipset that powers the S17e model is unknown at this time. The vivo S17 will reportedly have the Snapdragon SM7325, which appears to be the Snapdragon 778G or Snapdragon 782G chipset, according to the most recent information from tipster DCS.
While the Dimensity 8200 chipset will be found in the vivo S17 Pro. Recall that the Snapdragon 870 and Dimensity 8200 chipsets were installed in the vivo S16 and S16 Pro, respectively.
Furthermore, according to DCS, BOE will supply a 1.5K resolution OLED display for the vivo S17 and S17 Pro. He withheld the size of the screen, though.

The 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V primary camera in the rear camera setup of the vivo S17 and S17 Pro is said to support optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, a 12-megapixel telephoto IMX663 camera will be available.
The other cameras that will be included in the rear panel of the Vivo S17 series are unknown. The vivo S17 series will support 80W fast charging, according to the leak. The size of the S17 duo’s battery was not mentioned by the tipper, though.
