vivo V29 heading to the Philippines with Aura Light

vivo is launching its newest selfie-centric mid-range smartphone very soon.

vivo gears up the release of its latest offering in the Philippines. It is the vivo V29 and is claimed capable of adapting in many environments. This is thanks to Aura Light, which lets users capture moments in various scenarios. While it is yet to be tested in real-life scenes, vivo said that the new smartphone “smartly” enhances portraits in “cool lighting.”

It seems powered by AI where the Smart Color Temperature Adjustment detects the environment and casts light to improve faces and restore skin tones. So, if you’re taking a selfie in low-light places with blue tones, vivo V29’s camera should bring back your face’s natural color. The same goes for warm tones and neon lights.

About its performance, vivo V29 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 256GB of internal storage, and a 4600mAh battery unit, which supports fast charging of up to 80w. The smartphone runs Android 13 and Funtouch 13 as well.

vivo V29 is mid-range camera-focus handset for great stills, thanks to its rear triple-camera setup of 50MP OIS, 8MP ultra-wide angle, and 2MP depth shooter. You can take selfies with its 50MP shooter and dual LED flash, but the rear setup has a ring-LED flash for maximum light.

As far as price is concerned, vivo V29 is estimated to be €500 or ₱30,619.27. Its exact release date is yet to be confirmed.
