Earlier reports indicated vivo was developing the Y38 5G (model number V2343) alongside two other phones. Now, the Y38 5G has been spotted on Bluetooth SIG and CQC certification platforms, hinting at an imminent launch.
Bluetooth SIG and CQC Certifications
The Bluetooth SIG listing confirms Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity for the Y38 5G. Additionally, the CQC certification suggests support for 44W fast charging.
Geekbench Unveils Possible Specs
While the Y38 5G appeared on Geekbench earlier, it only recently gained attention. The listing reveals a Qualcomm “parrot” codenamed chip, likely the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. It also suggests 8GB of RAM and Android 14. The phone scored 3092 points in single-core and 7035 points in multi-core tests on Geekbench.
Expected Launch Date
Considering the typical launch timeframe for phones appearing on Bluetooth SIG, the Y38 5G may become official in May. However, details beyond those revealed in these leaks remain unknown.
