Although there was no official confirmation about the Xiaomi 14 Pro+, recent reports from a reliable source suggest that the model may exist after all. According to these reports, the Xiaomi 14 Pro+ is codenamed “Aurora,” which draws inspiration from Roman mythology.

Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro are codenamed “Houji” and “Shennong”. Both will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors for better performance.

According to NotebookCheck, The Xiaomi 14 Pro+ may have a Leica quad-camera setup and 120x zoom, challenging the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The main sensor and periscope telephoto lens both have 50 megapixels.

Rumors have been circulating about the upcoming Xiaomi 14, and it’s been said that it may be equipped with a telephoto lens that has a 90mm focal length and 3.9x optical zoom.

However, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is expected to surpass that with a periscope telephoto lens that has a 115mm focal length and 5x optical zoom.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is set to feature a Leica professional super-telephoto lens with a 120mm focal length, allowing for 3-10x lossless optical zoom.

Sources suggest that the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro models will have battery capacities of 4860mAh and 5000mAh, respectively, and both will support 120W fast charging.

Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to launch MIUI 15, a significant system upgrade. According to reports, the new software will be introduced on devices scheduled for release in the second half of the year, including the Redmi Note 13 series, Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, and Xiaomi 14 Pro+.

Among MIUI 15’s most notable features is the Photon Engine, designed to increase system performance and enhance power efficiency, resulting in an 88% improvement in smoothness for third-party applications.

The Xiaomi 14, 14 Pro, and 14 Pro+ are expected to hit the market in November, while the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is predicted to be available in early 2024.

Additionally, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, a new foldable screen device, will be officially released in August.
