Brace yourself for the Xiaomi 14 series as leaks suggest it will arrive with Qualcomm’s most powerful mobile processor.
The Xiaomi 14 lineup has been in the rumor mill for some time and now, there are two new things claimed by leaks. These are the launch date and the processor model.
According to a report, Xiaomi would reveal its next flagship smartphones this month and bear the next-generation mobile CPU from Qualcomm. The claim suggested that the launch date for Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro would be on October 27.
If you’ve been keeping tabs, that’s a day after the annual Snapdragon Summit, which will showcase Qualcomm’s most powerful mobile CPU: the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This event is scheduled from October 24 to 26 in Hawaii.
As per another report, the Xiaomi 14 series has three models – Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14, and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. But only the first two are launching this year, with the Ultra version set for next year.
Both Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro feature a new design based on the cases, where four camera slots are identified. There’s also the enlarged housing for the camera modules, possible indication of better camera performance.
Besides those, other rumors claim that the two phones will get a titanium frame and satellite connectivity.
As for the price, nothing’s hinted but expect it to be higher since the Xiaomi 14 series will be shipped with better hardware, Android 14, and MIUI 15, or the first version of MI OS.
