Leaked information suggests that the Honor 80 Pro+ could include a 200-megapixel camera and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1

Honor is going on a more crazier route, matching the camera rosters of the likes of Motorola and Infinix, with a beefier twist

Since the launch of the Honor 70 series in May of this year, there have been numerous rumors regarding the future Honor 80 series. The range is anticipated to feature the Honor 80, 80 Pro, and 80 Pro+ smartphones.

The most recent information is that an Honor phone, perhaps the 80 Pro+, would have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU, 12GB of RAM, a 200MP camera, 100W charging, and other features.

Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station claims that Honor is working on a brand-new smartphone with a 1.5K AMOLED display.  The “flexible screen” on the device hints that it may incorporate curved edges. The phone’s internal hardware also features a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset with 12 GB of RAM.

The tipper further claims that the supposed device would support 100W charging. He omitted to mention the device’s battery capacity though. A 20MP primary camera is also said to be included with the device.

This smartphone is anticipated to be the Honor 80 Pro+, the more expensive model in the Honor 80 series. It’s likely to make its debut alongside the original Honor 80, which is said to have a Dimensity 1080 SoC in it. There may also be an Honor 80 Pro with a Snapdragon 778G.

Remember that the Honor 70 Pro+ from the previous generation has a Dimensity 9100 SoC together with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It has a 4,600mAh capacity and 100W rapid charging is supported.

The smartphone has a 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and QHD+ resolution. It has three rear-facing cameras, the main which has a 54MP resolution.
