Xiaomi Rubik Cube-esque charger released in China

Maybe you can also speedrun with it, technically and literally? Goodluck with the all-white finish though, that should be fun!

The Rubik’s Cube Converter Pro is one of the newest devices Xiaomi, a tech company, has released. The Mi Rubik’s Cube Converter Pro can be plugged in from all sides and offers 33W fast charging. The device has been available for purchase since it was first introduced in October.

The charger and power strip are both integrated into the square shape of the Xiaomi Cube Converter Pro. The device has jacks on each of its four sides, making it easier to plug it in. Compared to the wired version of the MIJIA Cube Converter, it is a little smaller (by around 24%).

The converter is portable and offers connectivity for a variety of gadgets. The device has three USB ports and three sets of power connections (USB-A x2 and USB-C x 1). While the A1 port provides 22.5W charging, the C and A2 connectors offer 33W wired fast charging.

With the ability to intelligently detect the output current, the Xiaomi Cube Converter Pro is compatible with a variety of gadgets. The Cube Converter Pro is said to be able to fully charge an iPhone 14 in up to 100 minutes and the Mi 12 S Ultra in 65 minutes.

A number of measures are included into the gadget to ensure the security of the devices being charged. As the interior conductive structural material, a high-quality copper alloy is used. Multiple levels of protection are present against the insertion of extraneous objects, and the Converter Pro’s shell is built of flame-resistant material.

The Xiaomi Cube Converter Pro features one-key master control and is sold in China for 89 yuan, or about $12 (Around ₱1,200).
