In the recent weeks, MediaTek has been launching new smartphone chipsets. The company’s recent trend is continuing as it prepares to release MediaTek Dimensity 8200, a new smartphone processor.

The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC will be unveiled on December 1st, the company has officially revealed through a teaser poster. The teaser alludes to the chipset’s increased emphasis on energy economy.

iQOO has hinted that the iQOO Neo 7 SE will be the first smartphone to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, which is scheduled to go official on December 2 in the Chinese market, however the company has not officially verified this.

According to various sources, the chipset will include four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores in addition to the processor’s own four Cortex-A78 cores. There will be one 3.1GHz A78 core, three 3.0GHz A78 cores, and four 2.0GHz A55 efficient cores. The Mali-G610 MC6 GPU from the Dimensity 8100 will still be present.

The 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz screen resolution, the 5,000mAh battery, and 120W fast charging are anticipated features of the iQOO Neo 7 SE, which is slated to be the first handset to run Dimensity 8200. In addition to iQOO, Redmi is anticipated to introduce a smartphone with this new forthcoming technology shortly.
