We have received many reports from people telling us about scammers posing as Unbox Diaries and we are here to clear things up
Being a popular personality here in the Philippines and overseas, some times, people with bad motives tend to pose as us in order to scam people of all walks of life.
Recently, there’s been a consistent influx of chats and comments from our Facebook page and YouTube channel with screenshots indicating “Unbox Diaries” messaging these people that they won a smartphone or cash prize. They were directed to WhatsApp and asked to pay a small fee for the shipping or processing of their prizes, which turned out to be a scam.
To clear things up, we are not messaging random people on our YouTube, Instagram, and/or Facebook pages and we will not ask for fees to any winning person through our giveaways which are announced EXCLUSIVELY on our YouTube channel, Facebook pages, and Instagram pages.
Any transactions outside of this method are considered SCAMS and should be avoided at all costs. Let’s be vigilant and make sure to check our handles which we will share below as these are the only outlets in which we post anything regarding giveaways, raffles, announcements, and more.
