vivo Pad 2 specs and design leaked way before official launch

vivo maybe let this one slide so it can generate a whole lot of buzz with its underrated tablet department, but the question is: are we interested?

Along with other upcoming products like the vivo X Fold 2 and the vivo X Flip, the vivo Pad 2 was recently unveiled at the 2023 Boao Forum.

vivo is rumored to be releasing these products on April 20 in China. 91mobiles and tipster Ishan Agarwal have teamed up to leak the critical details of the vivo Pad 2. The three color options for the device are also shown for the first time in the leak.

According to the vivo Pad 2 renderings, the device’s back will house a rounded camera module. It has two cameras and an LED flash.

There will be three colors available, including gray, blue, and purple. The tablet has a wider design than the original vivo Pad because it has a bigger screen.

As a result, vivo altered the new model’s pogo pin placement and the company logo’s orientation.

The vivo Pad 2 reportedly has a 12.1-inch LCD panel with a 2.8K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.

The Dimensity 9000 chipset and a 10,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging will power it. 8 GB or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage will be included with the vivo Pad 2. The device is anticipated to run on OriginOS 3 for Pad and Android 13 OS.

The Pad 2 will have a dual 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel (macro) camera system on the back and an 8-megapixel front camera. Other features like NFC and Bluetooth 5.3 will be available. It will weigh 580 grams and have dimensions of 266 x 191.6 x 6.6mm.

As you might remember, the vivo Pad from a year ago had an 11-inch IPS LCD 2.5K 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 870 processor, 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, and an 8,040mAh battery with 44W charging. It had a dual 13-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) camera setup on the back and an 8-megapixel front camera for photography.
