Blizzard Entertainment has finally announced that Diablo Immortal is coming this June 2, 2022 on PC and mobile.
Diablo Immortal isn’t a new game – the game has been in alpha testing in December 2020 of last year until January 2021. The alpha test in games already included 45 levels with 4 character classes, actually six: Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard. It was only after the alpha test that they included two more characters.

Diablo Immortal is set in the universe between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III. The plot revolves around finding and destroying shards of the Worldstone to prevent cultists from using them for nefarious means.
There are two main groups in the Diablo Immortal story – the Immortals and the Shadows. The Immortals’ main task is to protect Sanctuary from evil forces, while the Shadows act as a counterbalance (or rather, test-givers) to make sure the Immortals don’t stray from their duties.
It was only in 2021 they did another alpha test on the mobile game for players in Australia. This alpha test already included upgrades and modifications to the game play, characters, and other in-game related technicalities that test players gave feedback on.
The game’s pre-registration is still on-going, with Android players having signed up early on, while the iOS pre-registration only opening in March 2022. The game is available for crossplay on PC, and the game can be continued on either platforms as long as there’s a save point in-game.
